Our Society was founded in 1983 and we have around 170 members.  There is no Waiting List. Lectures are held on the 1st Tuesday of the month except in August. We also organise day trips to unique locations, Special Interest Days, a summer party and a Christmas lunch.

We play an active role in our local community and there are opportunities to join Volunteer Groups for Church Recording, Heritage Conservation and Young Arts Projects. 

Special Interest/Study days and cultural tours are also organised by The Arts Society nationally and by The Arts Society West Midlands area and these are open to both members and non- members.
